Cigar kiosk from 1914

This cigar kiosk was originally built for the Baltic Exhibition in Malmö in the summer of 1914. Today, more than 100 years later, it has regained its former glory. Note that the metal roof is painted with lightfast mica pigments that imitate gold. We mix these pigments with linseed oil and Ottosson’s Linseed Oil Varnish. The small kiosk now stands in an allotment garden in Lund, Sweden.
