Boiled linseed oil
The aged, cold-pressed linseed oil is boiled in our own cookery: Linseed Oil Cookery in Skåne AB. The raw material is raw linseed oil that is aged for 6 months and heated to about 140 °C for about a week. Boiled linseed oil is used as a binder in all our linseed oil paints, and it is also used, among other things, to dilute linseed oil paints and as an interior varnish.
Swedish linseed oil is unique due to its high levels of linolenic acid and linoleic acid, with levels around 80 percent.
