Raw linseed oil
Swedish cold-pressed raw linseed oil of the highest quality. The oil is aged for at least 6 months after pressing so that any waste products can settle. This is done in a natural purification process.
Swedish linseed oil is unique due to its high levels of linolenic acid and linoleic acid, with levels around 80 percent. Raw linseed oil has a lower surface tension than water and therefore penetrates deeper than water into all forms of substrates. This means that it is unsurpassed as protection against rot in wood. Used for oiling wood and for diluting linseed oil paint for exterior use. It is also useful for storing brushes. Raw linseed oil has a long drying time.
