Special products (colors)
Making linseed oil paint is an old craft and requires “know-how” and experience. We can mix a special color based on an NCS number or other general color code, or your own swatch. Your color idea can be an old paint chip, an image, or an object in a specific shade.
Our knowledge of color mixing allows us to quickly determine the color bases to use. This blending process has striking similarities to a chef seasoning a dish. One tests the result – in the case of the chef by tasting – and in our case with our eyes. We can assess how the sample color has aged and the time period during which it was painted to select the original pigments.
We mix both linseed oil paint and matte linseed oil paint for interior uses.
