Single-coat painting on newly sawn interior surfaces
This treatment is labor-saving and comes in handy on large areas of sawn wood. Thin the linseed oil paint with 30% volume of boiled linseed oil. Apply the paint in a thin, even layer. Use care, work wet at all times, and avoid double coating. Paint from corner to corner and do not stop at the center of the wall. The paint’s coverage is so good that only one coat is necessary (exception: white colors do not give full coverage). When the linseed oil paint is absorbed into the wood, the color value shifts slightly from light to darker. After about a day, the surface will have a matte to satin-matte sheen.
