Unlike plastic paint that settles as a plastic coating on the surface, linseed oil paint allows the oil to penetrate into the substrate. This means that a facade painted with linseed oil paint does not peel and become unsightly. It is not necessary to scrape off any flaking paint or be worried about the wood being rotten prior to any repainting work.
